EMS Premium Shipments to Mexico

Due to changes in customs regulations by the Mexican Tax Authority and Customs, the following are important notes for EMS Premium shipments:

• Mandatory Recipient Tax ID for Shipments to Mexico:
  The recipient's Tax ID must be included (failure to provide may result in delays, fees, or the possibility of return).
  Tax ID: A tax identification number assigned in Mexico—13 digits for individuals or 12 digits for corporations.
• If the recipient’s Tax ID cannot be verified, the carrier will contact the recipient for 2 business days upon arrival in Mexico. If not resolved, the shipment will be returned automatically to the sender without prior notice.
• Accurate Recipient Details: Include the recipient's name, address, phone number, and email address.
• Detailed Item Descriptions:
  Inappropriate Descriptions (Example): Clothes
  Appropriate Descriptions (Example): Men's cotton crew neck T-shirt
