Expanded EMS Kimchi Shipping Destinations & Guidelines

Shiptoyou is excited to announce an expansion of international destinations eligible for kimchi shipments via EMS (Express Mail Service). More customers can now share the taste of Korea with loved ones abroad.

Newly Added Destinations:

  • New Zealand
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines

Existing Destinations:

  • United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii)
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • Japan (excluding Okinawa)
  • China
  • Hong Kong
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Singapore

Effective Date: Immediately

Packaging Guidelines:

  • Use 2–3 layers of kimchi plastic bags
  • Fill aluminum cans no more than 70%, seal tightly, and repack in a sturdy box
  • Include ice packs or oxygen absorbers inside the can
  • For non-metropolitan areas, ship Monday through Thursday

Staff Instructions:

  • EMS sticker must be attached for proper handling and customs processing

Customs Advisory:

  • Customers must check destination country’s customs regulations
  • Delays or holds may cause spoilage or disposal
  • No compensation for customs-related damage or loss
