Customs Duty: The duty-free limit is 50 yuan. If the declared value exceeds 50 yuan, customs duties will be applied based on the declared price (effective from 12th.1st.2024).
For bulk items, if the total declared value exceeds 2,000 yuan, customs clearance is not possible (if clearance is not possible, items will be held or returned by customs).
However, for bulk items, if the total declared value exceeds 2,000 yuan but customs considers the items as personal belongings, customs clearance may be allowed (the recipient must submit the required documents requested by Chinese customs for clearance).
